On February 24-25, 2025, the Chemical Process and Energy Resources Institute (CPERI) of the Centre for Research and Technology Hellas (CERTH) hosted the CPERI ERA 2025 Conference in Thessaloniki, Greece. This milestone event marked the 40th anniversary of CPERI’s founding and featured a series of presentations, discussions, and open days for the public.
The REUSE project actively participated in the conference, presenting the paper titled “Enzymatic CO2 Capture in a Rotating Packed Bed and Electrocatalytic CO2 Reduction to Useful Products: Overview of the REUSE project”, authored by A.I. Papadopoulos, S. Balomenou, P. Papazisi, D. Tsiplakides, and a distinguished team of researchers. Dr. P. Kazepidis also presented the corresponding poster, showcasing the project’s latest advancements (see the complete poster below).

As part of the event’s outreach activities, visitors had the opportunity to explore CPERI’s HiBay facility, where pilot plant units operate, offering a firsthand look at groundbreaking research in chemical processing and energy resources.
The CPERI ERA 2025 Conference successfully highlighted four decades of scientific achievements and innovation, reinforcing CPERI’s role as a leader in the field.
